Our Mauritian DJI Zenmuse X7: Expertise at its finest, available in Mauritius, Maldives and Seychelles.

The DJI Zenmuse X7, together with the DJI Inspire 2, is used by film professionals all over the world to deliver astonishing, industry-standard images. This drone exceeds our expectations and we are proud to announce this asset to the services we provide.

With its Super 35mm sensor and an ISO range of 100-6400 for video and 100-25,600 for stills, the Zenmuse X7 gives us an incredible result in low-light situations. Its sensor size, similar to that of the Arri Alexa, complements our film cameras on set, gives us a cinematic shallow depth of field and low image noise. The new EI mode makes it even easier to match our drone image with our Arri cameras, which facilitates image consistency even more.

Another highlight of the Zenmuse X7 is its DJI Cinema Color System which consists of an updated D-Log curve for extended dynamic range and a D-Gamut RGB color space for preserving maximum color information. This ensures that image quality is retained during the post-production process and enhances the color-grading experience.

The world’s first aerial mount system, the DL-mount, makes our carbon fiber lenses interchangeable. With our 16mm, 24mm, 35mm and 50mm prime lenses, we have a range of possibilities as to which image we want to capture.

The biggest deal with the Zenmuse X7, however, is its ability to shoot 6K in DNG format at 6K: 6016×3200, 23.976/24/25/29.97/30p, 12-bit, full FOV. As mentioned on the DJI Website, our drone comprises of a 24 MP CMOS sensor rated at 14 stops of dynamic range which preserves astonishing detail. It offers both 6K CinemaDNG and 5.2K Apple ProRes with support for continuous RAW burst shooting at 20 fps and 24 MP stills. This is an exploit for a drone camera of this size.

If we were to choose the best drone for our film productions in Mauritius, it would most definitely be the DJI Zenmuse X7. And we did.
