Story of a tragic love

Florian Huber is researching a wreck off Mauritius that went down in history: the “Saint Géran”. The ship of the French East India Company shattered on August 17, 1744 off Mauritius on a reef and sank. The “Saint Géran” was immortalized in the novel “Paul et Virginie” by Bernardin de Saint-Pierre. It tells the story of a tragic love. However, the wreck has been forgotten. Florian Huber goes in search of traces – for the truth of the story and for the remains of the ship. First with an ultralight seaplane from the air and then with his crew from research divers.
